E-Paper Displays

MyGica ePaper display solutions combine ultra-low power consumption, paper-like readability, and excellent visibility, across monochrome and color E Ink panels as well as Cholesteric LCD (ChLCD) technology. Ideal for retail, transportation, corporate, and public information displays, MyGica's proprietary ePaper technology supports multiple refresh effects for enhanced performance in large-format signage — backed by full in-house capability from TCON to finished display.

What Is an e-paper Display?

An e-paper display (electronic paper / E Ink) is a reflective, bistable display that mimics ink on paper. Charged pigment microcapsules rearrange under an electric field to form the image, then hold it on screen with zero power — electricity is only needed to change the content.

Key Benefits

  • Eye-friendly, paper-like readability: No backlight, no flicker, no glare — clear in direct sunlight and comfortable for long viewing.
  • Ultra-low power, lower cost: In static signage use, e-paper can deliver several times to several dozen times the energy efficiency of an equivalent LCD/LED display — while holding an image with no power draw and supporting battery or solar operation.
  • Flexible CMS & content control: Free lightweight CMS supports scheduled publishing, bulk management across multiple devices, and real-time remote push — with open API/SDK for integration into third-party CMS platforms.
  • Full-color & advanced refresh: Color EPD (E Ink Spectra 6 / Gallery), high-contrast monochrome, and ChLCD options, powered by MyGica-Flex intelligent waveform technology for smooth full, partial, and fast refresh with minimal ghosting.
  • Full size range: From ~10″ up to 55″, across color, monochrome, and ChLCD formats.
  • Full-stack & OEM/ODM support: In-house display, TCON/mainboard, and CMS/software from one partner, with worldwide OEM/ODM customization and 100+ country distribution backed by CE, FCC, RoHS, and REACH compliance.
